Individuals, research teams and institutions worldwide are invited to peruse this site for possible affiliation and association with Narwhal Tusk Research. We have launched a broad based study and we are open to considering other ideas. As the narwhal tusk is an exception to evolutionary form and likely function, scientists who can contribute their insights and analytic methods are welcome to contact us. Often, there are small pieces of a scientific puzzle locked within an old photograph or in a description by an Inuit elder. Please let us know how you may be of assistance and thank you for taking the time to respond and for any insights or observations offered.
